Vernon County Agricultural Society Mission Statement
The primary mission of the Vernon County Agricultural Society is to provide an annual County Fair for the citizens of Vernon County and the surrounding area. The purpose of the annual fair is to provide positive educational and social experiences for those who choose to participate, either as exhibitor or as attendees of the annual fair.
The Agricultural Society will maintain the Fairgrounds facility in a manor which provides optimum conditions for conducting the annual Fair.
Additionally the Agricultural Society has an interest in making the Fairgrounds facility available for use by others in the Vernon County community and surrounding area to conduct additional events and activities throughout the year.
Vernon County Ag Society – Membership
On the Fair Entry form you have the opportunity to join the Vernon County Ag Society. One dollar will buy you a 10 year voting membership. You must be a member for 90 days prior to the Annual Meeting in December to be eligible to vote. Just check the box on the entry form and add $1.00 to your total. You can contact any Vernon County Ag Society Director for Membership Cards or stop in at the Fair Office during Fair and get signed up as a member to the Vernon County Agricultural Society.
